PROVINCE SAMMELAN (Provincial's Note)
Goal: being with one another, enjoying Gujarat Jesuit fellowship and feeling proud of being a Gujarat Jesuit, deepen the sense of belonging.
Means: (through Power Point Presentations, group activities by representative Jesuits)
Re-visiting our Gujarat Jesuit roots and taking ownership of our past: Kheda, S. Gujarat, N. Gujarat, Sabarkantha; contributions of individual Jesuits
Recognizing the new initiatives in pastoral, educational, social action etc.
Thinking out of the box: call to be men of new frontiers
Dates: April 28, 29 and 30, 2011

We request your suggestions as to make our Sammelan a wonderful experience of unity, solidarity and fellowship. We have identified and appointed Jesuits from each zone who would help out in the presentations of various themes. The idea is to make as many Jesuits as possible to participate in the entire process.
You may give your suggestions now or in the course of time. You can share your suggestions and feedback in this website. This site is specially created for the sammelan.
ZANKVAV ZONAL GATHERING 12.FEB.2011
THE FIRST ZONAL GATHERING WAS AT ZANKHVAV ON 12TH OF FEB 2011. THERE WAS 100% ATTENDANDANCE AND ACTIVE PARTICIPATION.
PERSONAL AND HISTORICAL SHARINGS BROUGHT THE JESUITS TOGETHER. THE GROUP HAS DECIDED TO MEET ONCE AGAIN IN MARCH. THE HOST SHOWED THE TRUE GUJARAT JESUIT HOSPITALITY. FR. RAJ ANIMATED THE GROUP WELL. FR. PROVINCIAL WAS PRESENT FOR THE FIRST HALF. AS PART OF THE ZONAL EXHIBITION, FR. MOONU PRESENTED SOME RARE VISULAS FROM HIS ALBUM. A DETAILED REPORT WILL BE PRESENTED LATER.

Rooted in our past.
In 1956 February 04th, Gujarat mission had been erected into an independent Vice Province. Let us thank the Lord in special way for our fore Fathers on that day.

we ought to make a concerted effort to walk with the HS talk with the HS daily ONLY HE WILL enlightened our minds and heart in our search for peace and love for our fellow jesuitswith one another
